My golfing year would not be as interesting if it did not include the couple of days with the Wedges playing against the Comedians Golfing Society. This was was another great event with the banter and entertainment coming forst and the golf came second. It was great to see all the old faces even if they looked another year older!

The CGS Captain this year is Terry 'TC' Ryan who gave out a bitcoin to each of the Wedges to use as a ballmark. He convinced most of us that each of these coins were worth around £5000, I just hope that nobody tried to sell theirs on ebay or they mighth have been done for fraud!!

'TC' was also generous with his specially printed pens which he gave to anyone who told a joke that got the approval of the CGS members. I was suprised that Clive Adams got a pen because by the time he got to the punchline most of the audience had fallen asleep.

The CGS excelled themselves with a song which was dedicated to our President Colin. I took a video of this which can be viewed below if you have adobe player installed.
